Barrier netting repair

YOUR BARRIER NETTING IS DAMAGED ?!

WE CAN CHANGE IT !!!

We offer you the opportunity to repair an existing barrier netting. You will receive the best product on the market from us.

Barrier nettings can be found in most sports facilities. They are used on football and volleyball pitches, as well as many other team games. This is a seemingly undemanding construction that performs a very important function. Unfortunately, it gets damaged over time. Intensive use means that the elements used may require renovation or replacement. Below are the most common problems associated with the use of barrier netting and how to fix them.

Problem no. 1

FIXING THE BARRIER NETTING DIRECTLY TO THE FENCE OR TOO CLOSE TO THE FENCE

Disadvantages:

  • incorrect work of the barrier netting, which instead of catching the balls will bounce them;
  • danger of getting caught on the fence structure and damage to both elements;
  • a potential threat for users who bumping into the barrier netting can also hit the object's fence.

SPORT TRANSFER solutions:

  • we recommend mounting the barrier netting on a separate system of posts mounted in ground sockets fixed with concrete - thanks to this the net can be properly tensioned so that it performs its function properly;
  • we recommend fixing the barrier netting at a distance of at least 1 m from the fence on an appropriate system of posts and using the indicated fastening elements, thanks to which a properly tensioned net will not get caught on the elements of the fence.

Problem no. 2

LACK OF ELEMENTS MOUNTING THE NET TO THE POSTS

Disadvantages:

  • incorrect system operation resulting from improper strain on the nets;
  • risk of faster wear of the net, which, when working on a steel cord or fixing hooks, may be subject to chafing;
  • unsightly appearance of barrier netting, in which the net is fixed in a manner not in accordance with the instructions;
  • danger to the health of users;
  • too weak tension of the net, and thus a malfunction of the catching system;
  • increased risk of destruction of the net suspended on the post system;
  • unsightly appearance of the facility.

SPORT TRANSFER solutions:

  • our barrier netting systems are accompanied by assembly instructions for posts and nets, when properly assembled, the system should retain its properties for a long time;
  • in our barrier netting, the nets are attached to the posts using steel, galvanized fasteners installed every 30 cm, thanks to which the nets are evenly tensioned and maintain an aesthetic appearance.

Problem no. 3

NO STRENGTHENING STRUTS

Disadvantages:

  • less stability of the barrier netting system that could lead to tipping over in extreme situations.

SPORT TRANSFER solutions:

  • our barrier netting systems are equipped with transverse struts placed in the outer segments, thanks to which their stability is increased and the it is possible to tension the net.

Problem no. 4

IMPROPER TENSION OF NET AND STEEL LINE

Disadvantages:

  • inadequate stretching of the net causes improper operation of the ball catching system;
  • too low tensioned steel line and under tensioned net are more susceptible to wind, which may even lead to collapse of the ball grip.

SPORT TRANSFER solutions:

  • we recommend maximum strain on the line and net in accordance with the attached pattern so that the mesh works correctly and at the same time has limited possibilities of deformation.

Problem no. 5

TOO SMALL (NARROW) BARRIER NETTING

Disadvantages:

  • a system that does not fulfill its tasks due to the fact, that it only catches some of the balls that have not hit the goal;
  • in case the barrier netting is to separate the two pitches, the use of too narrow system may cause the risk of a ball being hit by people on the neighboring court.

SPORT TRANSFER solutions:

  • we recommend using ball grips with a minimum width of 18m, which allow for protection of about 7m on each side of the goal, 27m wide barrier nettings are also often used, which allow covering almost the entire shorter side of the pitch from the Orlik 2012 program.

The SPORT TRANSFER system of barrier nettings

SPORT TRANSFER barrier netting systems are equipped with proprietary, aluminum or steel galvanized, rust-resistant posts tested on many sports facilities (including many Orliks). Recommended posts height is 6 m, but other heights are also available. The posts are mounted in sockets concreted in the ground, thanks to which their assembly and disassembly is very easy. The special profile of the posts allows them to hang the net on them using PP hooks. Polypropylene nets used on SPORT TRANSFER barrier netting are the best nets available in Poland, that meet all safety and durability requirements. This is confirmed by numerous attestations, certificates and awards. Depending on the needs, customers can order a net with a strand thickness from 3 to 5 mm and a eye edge from 45 to 100 mm. All net types are very resistant to both tensile or tear tests and different weather conditions. Thanks to this, they can serve for many seasons, without losing strength and color. In practice, the most common are nets with a strand thickness of at least 4 mm and an eye edge of 45 mm. They have already proven themselves on many playing fields from the program 'Moje Boisko - Orlik 2012'. This is primarily due to the specifics of using Orliks, where strong ball hits from close range are often encountered. This puts higher demands on the nets, and the use of weaker nets may lead to tearing.

Key features of the SPORT TRANSFER barrier netting system:

  • easy assembly and disassembly of the system due to the use of the technique of fastening posts to sockets concreted to the ground, which is especially important when access to a sports facility is most convenient through a barrier netting;
  • the possibility of concreting the socket at a very early stage, which speeds up construction work;
  • strength and rust resistance of posts made of profiles, equipped with a channel for elements (hooks) fastening the net to them;
  • fastening the net to the posts with hooks made of PP;
  • use of the best knotless polypropylene net on the market, resistant to weather conditions, which is characterized by high resistance to tearing, stretching, rubbing and dirt;
  • full safety of exercisers, resulting from knotless net manufacturing technique;
  • experience in calculating the dimensions of the net, thanks to which it is possible to properly stretch the net and the barrier netting to work properly;
  • the ability to replace a damaged net without having to replace the posts;
  • the possibility of increasing the height of the barrier netting by using adapters connected to already existing posts, to which the elements fastening the net should be tightened in a way preventing their premature wear;
  • the possibility of independent replacement of existing barrier netting with the SPORT TRANSFER barrier netting system, which significantly reduces repair costs.
